No Words

I need to feel your love wash over me like rain
Drowning all my fears and washing away my pain

To feel your naked flesh with no words in the way
We both have spoken, now there's nothing left to say

Even through the anger and hurt my body heeds your call
It responds to only you, and to you I give it all

With little care of consequence or how long it may take
I will walk through the fire, my love, to ease this desperate ache

I need to feel your kiss on these tear-stained cheeks of mine
Make love to me, take me, claim me yours until the end of time

Laying naked before you, not only body but soul bared
Your fingertips trace my jawline, you bury your face in my hair

Your body tells me what words cannot as you stare into my eyes
There is only honesty and love between us, no trace of deceit or lies

We are not promised tomorrow I know that much to be true
But the remainder of my life, my every tomorrow, will be spent loving you.
