Temptation.

You are temptation, for I know you well
I see you for what you are
You linger now within my heart
A false and shining star
Your claws leave furrows as they twist
To gain the hold you need
A creature of the darkness
And on misery you feed
Begone now from that whence you came
You are not welcome here
O.K. you win, you always do
I'll have another beer.

I laughed out loud at the surprise ending. He suffered enough; I'll bet that beer was delicious!
