EARTH ANGEL:

I saw him from a distance, his eyes flicked over me;
Then he turned and stared and like a bolt, I felt the energy.
Half angel, half man? Half devil, half saint? Does he speak duality?
Is he from my world? I do not know; my world's just a memory.

He lifted me up to planes of joy, it was a mystery.
For when he spoke he spoke not words,
But spoke in colours, see?
And he spoke his words straight from the heart,
The colours could not lie;
They glistened like a melody
Against the waiting sky.

A more beautiful flow of harmony I have never seen;
Now, I have to decipher just what these colours mean.
'Cause he spoke to me in colours that I did not understand,
But my trust in him was so complete, I took this angel's hand.

We rode the wind; we reached the heights beyond mortality.
And in the flashing of his wings I sensed his majesty.
But it was over all too soon, a brief, sweet ecstasy,
For to travel far beyond the earth was never meant to be.

At last my feet are on the ground,
My transport they shall be;
I'll never fly nor touch the sky
Lest it shall be...with he.
