A poem about not being able to return love to someone you care deeply for. About thinking you have it right when it all starts out, then realizing your downfall once your mind has cleared from the hazy cloud of lust.

I feel and You feel

I found light in earths eyes
I found trust in simple surprise
I found life, I found that it was alright

I felt memories harden my mind
I felt good and bad compromise
I felt a weight on my shoulder,
one too many times

You feel lust on your back
You feel it burrow then attack
You felt life, and you found life
And you find time without feeling time
Then you love her but don't show her
How you claim her without knowing her
This is a game without the pieces
I want to win but have no thesis

Lust attacks without a plan
Lust will fade but love commands
Our journey travels far and wide
You keep chasing yet I hide
You keep running as I lay still
I breathe the air you take a pill
I am perfect, you're never enough
I am scared that you've found love
