Sorry I can't describe my poems you'll have to read them for yourself.

How Do People Close Their Eyes To The Obvious?

You know its true in your heart
But when you find the evidence
It devastates you
It feels like a knife was slowly pushed into your heart
Making as much pain as possible
Then suddenly wrenched out
Causing so much pain
That its unbearable
You can't push through life anymore
At this thought a silent tear slides down your cheek
You wipe it away
Just like your going to wipe life away
You go to the kitchen
You grab the knife
You won't slit your neck
But make the metaphor real
You stab the knife into your chest
You feel the cold sharp blade go through your skin
It hurts but not as much as life
The pain starts to fade as the blood pours out
Life just exit's the body so easily
Much easier then life itself
Finally with your last thoughts
You feel content nothing can hurt you anymore
But you also think why did it have to come to this?
Why couldn't people that you trusted and love, take care of you and love you and keep your trust?
Why did they have to be so selfish?
Why did they have to lie and break your heart repeatedly?
But you took all of it and you bottled your feelings up
And it ended like this
But why couldn't people see what they were doing to you?
Why couldn't they just open their eyes?
Why must people be so selfish?
Why?

Damon
This is an excellently written piece. Some people just treat you that way no matter how much you love them--othes the more you love them the more apt to treat you that way tey are. Yet, there are some that would never dream of treating you like that even if you didn't love them, but especially if you did.

what can I say the writer just picked the wrong person to love.

Great work!
