that poem came out of a deep grief of which scars still obvious

forgiving

A kind heart is always vulnerable to pain
Going through hell unaware of what they'll retain
Wondering if it is fate in hell to remain
Showing regards to the wicked shall serve u disdain
I sit and brainstorm whether to forgive or not but in vain
And even if I forgave, forgetting has me astray again and again
They say forgetting is easy but to this day such lies remain
It runs in my blood and I can't restrain
For I can't forget even if I forgave so I refrain
And to recall it all wake again the pain
