In G, blues

Rose

You know I failed my math test
You know I failed my English test
You know it's for the best
Babe, and I love you
Rose

You know you lay in my bed
You know you stay in my bed
You know the wine is white,
But your glass is red,
Rose

I never ask, you always tell
You never cry, you're always well
When the sun shines on my Rose

You know you blow my mind
You do it all the time
And when the time is right
Oh, I'll make you mine
Rose

You're my everything
You make me dance and sing
And you never sting
My darling
Rose

You never lie, you always truth
You're my sweet little Baby Ruth
When the sun shines on my Rose

When I see her face
I know I'm in the right place
And when she kisses me
I know where I'm supposed to be

Oh Rose

I really enjoyed this. Like the way each stanza is underscored by Rose. Thanks for posting.

Very sweet and loving, full of depth and longing which brings in the blues of missing your rose, when I read it I never felt the blues and I am glad you wrote that up in the heading which gave it a different feel to when I first read it.
