Anniversary

Today commemorates us.
When we became
(officially, now)
a couple.

What a day! So full of emotions!
So full of happiness and joy!
How exciting it was to anticipate
the rest of my life with you!

...

But time has passed by,
and I have gone.
Now what remains on this day is
but a lost anniversary.
