Description is not required. The poem speaks.

And thats enough

If I had to sum up,

count all the reasons why I love you

like sheep to the restless man.

If I had to utter the words I thought

and quickly scribble them down

it would be:

I love the way you sleep,

the way you breathe,

and all that I desire lies here in the room.

And that's enough for me.

chasingtheday The PoetBay support member heart!
i am a little disappointed here for you speak of love yet in the first poem i read by you you were complaining of lack of strength of love poetry in another place. this is quite bland.

Hi.

I appreciate your honesty and opinion on my poem. Thank you for pointing out the line that you felt had strength.

I am commenting under this particular poem because it is the one I felt the most from. It is a wonderful poem. And romance is one of my favorite topics.

You were right, there is no need for any description. Love doesn't need words to explain it, words can - for the best - announce it, but inner sensations announce it first anyway.
