It needs work, but I wanted to publish the idea
over-nourished to bloom early
trapped in a glass, doomed to fade
only for the eyes of the exclusive
rather than shared and spread wide so it grows and thrives.
Sex is cursed by being treated as though it is a common weed
beat down by some, cultivated to the extreme by others
shared and spread and twisted and stretched to the extreme
in a tireless search for the next best high, the next best thing
the next best One
never given a thought to that
it is in peaceful places,
through gentle cultivation, patience, respect
nurturing and appreciation
that we find our highest moments of love, intimacy and connection
