The world can wait

I'll just give it another few minutes
and postpone the smiles of friends
Their love can wait

I'll just live in worlds i hate and that
polute my happiness
Its easier than facing the questions i want them to ask

Your beautiful smile and eyes full of love waits on my skype

My excuse to fall away from real life
while days and opportunities pass me by

But you are alive

at times, not I

France England
Love can't wait too long but at least it arrives. We may not be aware of it but it is there waiting for the appointed soul to see with eyes open or shut that that desire is right next to you. The world cannot wait; wait any longer. A poem to ponder in slience and truth. Cast not away hope! Nice write and true to heart.

Commentally Ill
we all live in worlds we hate which pollute our happiness, and usually it's by choice. coincidentally, nothing makes for good poetry like a self-served dose of suffering.

p.s. the world can wait but the bathroom can't (and doing the pee dance on skype makes one look rather silly).
