The Mirror

Have you looked in the mirror
Looking back at yourself
you feel you are unloved

I think I need
to deliver everybody
a lifesavor
Giving everyone my flavor
Delivering my Suicide
behavior

No need to hold on
I just have to let go
Giving my audience
my final act

Don't try to stop me
Never shed a tear
I have no regrets
I am clear of why
I cancel my life
Pain is my greatest
fear, to be gay
maybe nobody
wants me to
be here

The very subtle alteration of Life-Saver, the candy to 'lifesavor' is priceless.

Yes, the great thing about creative writing is that we can write about both heaven and hell. Life is not all a bowl of life-savers, but at times we can savor life, since it's all we've got.

Powerful and clear in its minimalist structure. Nicely done.
