Let it be

Let it be a smile
A little petal on a lonesome mile
To make you love me still more
Like the raging autumn sore

Let it be a bright morn
Picking me up with a blissful moan
To make me merry and light again
And hold your hands on this sunny summer lane

Let it be the chirpy woods
Wet grounds and sunny leafy hoods
To give us the pleasures we dreamt together
And dance with leisure to our ending fervor

Let it be a raging river
A passing cold gust and a refreshing quiver
To make me hold you and move round and round
Like the angels feast on heavenly sound.
