Blue Nightscapes

One late lost evening
Sometime long long ago
Writing a blue nightscape woven
Of slender threads of silken chosen
Thoughts someone was weaving
Around the light of a summer moon
Not the same as being
A meaningless tune of afternoon
Memories dance with ghosts of fragrance
Intimations of romance in surreal dwindle
Strange unreal yarns wound around a dark spindle
Spinning cloth to wear posts left to chance
One late lost evening
Sometime long long ago . . .

You have 'nostalgiaitis' a bit like me at the moment. I like the 'silken' nature of this piece. Blessings, Allen
