Comes Abaddon
Hither comes Abaddon
With locust armies with devouring intent
Feasting upon hollow shells of city and state
Funeral cloth of charcoal and moans for drapery
Horror pageants number each contestant for a word
Is said without saying
Silence pandemonious discord
Holographic reality spools off kilter
Pits appear from nowhere
An invisible realm of no
Answers shall be forthcoming
Only devastation of reason and honor
Starvation for breakfast lunch and dinner
Wages of ash and coals
Mark the endless lines . . .
