For I Have Loved You Endlessly by M.A.Meddings
I acknowledge the following words of Richard Thompson an English folk singer from his song 'The poor ditching boy'
'storming wind cut through to my skin
But she cut through to my blood'
For the idea expressed in lines 16, 17, and 20 of my text. M.A.M
For I have  loved you endlessly
In the Summer of the year
And I have loved you tenderly
Yet always had this fear
That you might  spurn me
And heart so broken I would be
For even in my doubted time
I loved you secretly
Yet your heart was with another then
And I found  no light for me
So in the autumn rains that year
I loved you endlessly
Then  as the winter chills came on
You remained a part
For  the wanting of your love my dear
Cut straight through to my heart
The wind and rain might chill my skin
Such climate always does
But the thought I couldnt win you then
That cut through to my blood
I  loved long ago my queen
I loved you as before
and now I love you endlessly
How can I show you more
Than to come to you and be your man as in our latter days
You and I complete this love in oh so many ways
The simple matter of this fact
On which now I must close
Is that I love you endlessly
And in my heart it shows
I am helplessly
In love with you
