In remembrance of the murders of 3 of my loved ones Kim, Brad and Jill Camm
The memories come on strong for me starting in August and build until after the anniversary of their deaths.

September 28, 2000 - The Day of Nightmares

the storm clouds form in August
they grow bigger, darker, heavier
looming over the minds and emotions
of those who live it...
the death
the destruction
the pain
full like the swollen belly of a demon
pregnant with the vileness of evil
it rains
in sheets it rains
black rain, torrents of rain
cutting slashing brutal sleet
plummets into hearts and minds
killing spirits
drowning souls
the clouds consume, devour
all sun
all stars
all light
are gone
Death floods flow with the blood of injustice

Somewhere over the rainbow

The innocent shall be free

and the storm will perish...

My Dear Kathy!

It's always a mystery when the devil walks the earth.

Beautiful write, followed by a million hugs.

A brilliant poem Kathy, portraying the coming grief that pervades our lives when we have to deal with the loss of our loved ones, as you know I lost the love of my life suddenly, in the prime of his, so I know what you are going through and all your family. You have great strength and they will always be in your heart, I know that sounds cliched, but it is true. May they rest in peace. So sorry. Tai

I can feel your pain, your sense of loss, anger, helplessness and the sense of irretrievable loss of dearest and nearest ones.
It must have taken you a long time to recover- that is, if you did recover...?
(((Hugs is all I can give you...)))
Love, Zoya

My heart goes out to you and all your family Kathy. There are some things, tragedies in life that we can never reconcile - Just try to keep hold of the love and treasure the special times
