outer expressions of inner explorations
The Wilderness Walk
The desert surrounds me
as I walk the sand alone
I must travel this path for
it leads me home
The sun blisters my skin
and my feet are charred and sore
But I must continue on the mission
to find my inner core
Cacti and rattlers strike
and pierce my soul
I am traveling on the journey
to find the blessed whole
of who I am and how
to expand my weary mind
I am on the wilderness walk
taking one step
at
a
time
