I hope you don't get sick of them. : )

Dreams III

dancing through my dreams
there's a valley of golden slumber
and the warmth of a tropical light
in a blue house made of lumber
a cowboy riding banjos
with wild chiffon bandana
grows wings for his dismount
then smiles in the spookiest manner
breakfast is served with sliced hor d'oeuvres
while the cat barks a chequered dog
fingers of sparking embers
on the fire without a log
sunsets in the east
and there's a moonrise every hour
in this weirdness my eyes dart around
till I rise and regain my power

I won't get tired of them, I assure you!
But it's really necessary to regain power after such a dream... ;-)
And having a moonrise every hour is heavy stuff for a poet - indeed!
