unlock the ancient mysteries!

windy day - stayed home all day
so happy to be myself again

catholic rule, secret buddhist chants
in a hidden language
the key, lying in the mind and breath

going to the café to unlock ancient civilisations:
egypt and india, mesopotamia and palestine
persia and tibet, arabia and china

words are freedom, and words construct prisons
words are loose and tight, misconstrued
words are freedom and construct prisons
do you remember the butterfly,
dying on the ground
in the summer heat?
do you remember the agony of birth?
and do you know the agony of death?

i want to strangle the ancient elements,
crush them in my hands
and build a new world
with their remnants -
a world of peace and tolerance,
a world of global communion,
where all have their needs,
no one goes hungry or cold,
and no one lies or cheats

from great chaos is born great tranquility -
stillness follows anger
just as student follows teacher

I feel the flyaway freedom you seem to have in this piece, I like your words "and build a new world with their remnants."

Morning Star
I like your idea of wanting to build a new world, free of the limitations of the old one.

Great poem, well expressed.
