Was it special?

Was it worth it?

Did it mean a world to you?

now that you look behind?

Since we parted,

this burden I protect,

 near to my chest,

close to my heart,

I have blamed,

pointed fingers at shadows,

but never us,

 first fate, then circumstances,

in the end thought,

it was the redemption,

of our pain,

I cherished what I remembered,

searched for what I had forgotten,

lived each moment over and over again,

till all the stages of time merged,

into a totality of sorts,

Did it change you?

Do you think differently now?

Have you moved on with a lesson learnt?

Did we have something real to hold on to?

I doubt...

Such a great outpouring, not many of these are to find here,
the way you wrote this, the way your heart and mind came together, is absolutely astonishing.

Oh this is a perfect facet of the situation I was describing in my Ramblings 192, a perfect continuation of the thoughts and emotions. Really nice :) Pleased to know that my words were able to inspire you this beautifully - thanks.

Your words are so touching and familiar. When we have loved deeply, so many questions always remain, so many doubts.
A beautiful outpouring of your heart.
