better with the men folk

from my grandpa who was a hardcase

    but taught me something about grit

to my father, who is soft-hearted

to professor eliot and colin's grandfather

    and colin

who is teaching me about a different kind of love

not platonic, not romantic

     something else—human to human, human kindness

it begins in the heart and grows
