uncoiling a moment

uncoiling a moment

expressive as swan wings
uncoiling a moment

time doesn't take kindly
to crowding in -- unraveling

its twist -- its weave -- its braid
-- its exactness

counting its pithy plan
in increments only it knows

while watchmakers try
to rival - reproduce or duplicate

moment's precision
failing at each tic-toc . . .

it's an original -- time
-- and its moments that come to pass

are even
just so.

I truly enjoy the intricate thought throughout each moment. Your ability to bring forth images and feelings through your phrases such as, "expressive as swan wings," is glorious. The uncoiling a moment reminds me of a spring in a pocket watch perhaps.
These are physical images of time. But the truest moments are the emotional ones that you can never get back, except in memories.. so well done! :) kathy
