EVERY 25TH OF DECEMBER!

Every 25th of December
Neighbor - phones
To say diner's were ready
He'd say '' thank you ''
'' I'm my way '', he'll - say
Go down the road a the - few yards
She gave him , the diner on a plate
Covered - to keep the heat in
He'd - say ''thank you ''
Then back to his house - the few yards
Plate in hand - with the dinner - fast cooling down
Walk - back to his house a lone
Eat - the diner - a lone
Wash the plait - return - it - clean
Say - '' thank you ''
Then back to his house - alone - he'd return - a alone
Very - nice - of her - and her husband - of course
Then he's - back alone - in - his own - company - again
A - lone - once more!

Loneliness is what strikes me out of this tale. Sad, but beautifully written as is your style. Merci *hugs* xx
