Consider The Zebra

Paranoia is a false sense of scrutiny,
but this does not apply to the zebra.
For him, the vigilance is real.

The zebra can never truly relax;
consumed as he is
by his edible complex.

why is it a complex? i know the word in French, complexe: sometimes when you feel ashamed of something you shouldn't by instance, the complexion of your skin or the color of your hair.
