Poetry in my heart .
I thank you
For growing up with
Me,
Putting me on the
Pedestal
And I thank you
for tearing me apart,
For
Both pain and poetry.

I thank you
For enabling me
Before the blow
I thank you
For timing it right
For rendering it
When I could
Fight ,
I thank you
For not slaughtering me
Like a helpless ,
sacrificial lamb.
I thank you
For waiting long enough
So the blow hurt alright,
But there was no fatality
Of any kind!

I thank you
For your kindness
When I needed
And opposition
When I could
Survive!
I thank you
For a life
Lived together
And for,
Growing
Apart.
