Being Human

Some nights I feel
like there are a thousand galaxies
exploding in every inch of me
and I am burning too bright
to ever be looked at directly,

Some nights I feel
impossibly small, like my
whole body could slip through
the space between atoms and
never reappear in this world again,

Some nights I feel
like a paper doll, carefully crafted
and easily blown away, fragile,
too delicate to ever be touched,

Some nights Il feel
like each cell in my body is
made of the strength that holds
the whole planet together,

That is okay because I am
made of stardust and miniscule
atoms and breakable bones

Which are the building blocks of
everything in the universe,
and I am too alive to ever
feel anything more than human.

Wow, what a great perspective, its good to realise both our significance and insignificance, you have done this somehow both at the same time, impressive.

This is so powerful because it is so vulnerable. I love the imagery, the endless possibilities, the limitations, and the honesty. Beautiful!

Loved the imageries.

I loved it ...a perfect way to describe our place in the Universe......

A wonderful journey through science and feeling. Being human means so many things, but the ability to understand were we stand in the universe is empowering and overbearing at times.
I like the repetition of the first line, it gives it a fell of regality.
