GRENFELL!
A tower block erected for the deserving poorSocial housing - living - check to jowl
Close by - the undeserving wealthy
Living in mansions - thou - some do not
Leavening then vacant - gathering profits
Brought and sold - no one living in the vacant
Accommodation - profits! - before needs!
Grenfell - to look out upon - not to the liking
Of those who DO - live in occupied - mansions
Nor to the liking of those who had invested
In unoccupied - mansions
So the local council - decided to - gentrify - tart up
Grenfell - as cheep as possibility aloud
Unfortunately for those trapped by their poverty
To live in the tower block - known as Grenfell
The cladding - cheap - cheap as chips as we Brits say
When a fridge - it's wiring - faulty - fridge - cheep -
Cheep and cheerless
Coursed it - fridge - to catch fire
Fire fighters - arivde - did their best
BUT the fire - court the cladding - up Greefell the fire went
Up went the tower block - up like a Roman candle
Killing seventy one - including - unborn baby died in her mothers
Womb!
Now - do not be surprised - should Grenfell - be even more
Genterfide - the sold off - as luxury apartments
As for the deserving poor - they of course are well to pay for
An apartment - all they need is the wages - salary - that will
Cover the monthly mortgage!
