THE FIRST THANET SNOW!

The first snow of the winter is fulling out side!
It fell as I stood in the porch smoking my last
My last rolley before going to the nights slumberings!
Snow covered lane - well a street sized, lane!
Virgin white for now!
Come the coming day - soon the virginity will be broken!
Has humanity - trudges down the fluffy snow - compacts it!

Children of all ages will be playing snowballs - having snowball fights!
Some of the youngest children the coming morrow - they will see snow
Be their first snow of their lifes!

Dogs being walked - evacuating bladders and bowls!
Yellowing - browning - the white snow!
'Tis the kanines - with low hung undercarriage - that I feel fore most of all!
Yellowing - browning the white snow!
A woman of age - will finally be - able to strut out in her snow boots!
The virgin snow will all to soon lose it's purity
All again to soon turn into 'orrible sludge!
