The fire of existence

"Once you know that

You are not the mind,

What difference does it make whether

The mind is quiet or unsteady?

Only those identified with mind are

Concerned about its activities.

Realization is the realization of

That which is already prior to mind."

Wu Hsin

The pure beauty of existence

sings beyond all things

The fire of aliveness

constantly burning

Attention is curiously turning

away from the nagging noise of mind

finding the timeless freedom behind

Being the knowing silently glowing

There is no place for any tale

here all words fail

silence sings

beyond all things

Timeless beauty blooms

Hello Nils,
None so pure as silence, the essence of a tranquil existence in this splendid poem of yours. A wise and worthy composition. Very well done indeed.

Kind regards, Tony.
