Cherrypicking

When I find a jewel within
i’ll spit no more.

It might be never or forever.

The thought keeps me busy
welcoming bumblebees in springtime,
praising the sun and the clouds equally as summer reigns,
longing for early autumn to climb, pick and taste.

This is delightful. I enjoy all the imagery it evokes as it sparks my senses as well.
