CHRISMAS HAS BEEN CANCELLED THIS YEAR (Work In Progres)

Weather being as it is
Wet windy colder becoming
Cold reality
Summer defiantly over
Being optimistic harder
To keep a grip of
The realities of life dragging
One & all down into the dumps

Covid 19 not helping
Christmas looks like
Being cancelled this year
Christmas was a time of year
That gave us a time to look foreword to
To plan for - a time to be with Family & Friends
A time to exchange gifts - Christmas party's &CO

Saying to strangers we pass in the streets
' Merry Christmas love Merry Christmas mate '
' Happy New Year to you both '

Now thats no longer possible how all is very sad
Fear despondency stalks our every step
In our homes

The people in - self-isolation - supposedly!
Numbers of those gathered - find!
Braking - breaching regulations!

Gloom of dispossession has so many now fear
Being homeless they fear of of now
Anty depressant drugs many will be on before long
Becoming defendant on
Others drinking cans of cheep larger
Trying to drink away their fears of reality
What ever they choose - ups they obtain
Will sooner rather than later - hit them like hell

This Autumn & Winter - going to be the coldest
Since records being kept
Have to go back to 1918 - 1919 - to have an idea
How bad it will be for all of us this years end

Christmas has been cancelled this year
