Like Perpetual Motion

We can get giddy, if you want, give up
On narrative, throw out snippets of this
And that, throw polished rocks and store-
Bought glitter, doing our best to instill
In our readers the giddiness they've come
To think they should feel when we bring
Them a poem, and, that way, of course,
We'll get published and giddy again.
