Many volunteered to go off to Spain
Forming The International Brigade
From all over the world they came
Went to Spain to do the right thing
Brigades of each nation named affter
The African volunteers named there's
The Lincoln Brigade
Americans did not stand back looking on
Those Americans were from all back grounds
Both men and woman and of all ethnicity's
Educated students - longshoremen - Coal Miners Et All
They that make The U S A
Les than half returned a live
Those that made it back
Came back as united Americans
Now maybe lines that now being drawn
Hard choices being given in The U S A - America
