Illusion

I glared upon the dismal skies
The heaven clay,as rainbows died
And gazed upon the mountain so tall
Where the race of man and
her kingdom would fall

Then gazed I, oh, `pon time alone
then nighted skies `pon silence shone
And gazed I then, upon the mermaids tale
An illusion, frail, the veil
of times
