Walls
Every wall built by the architectof fear, to lock out Nature's
created world without walls,
is yet another wall built,
in the world of your own creation,
to lock you in
and turn you into both-
gaoler and prisoner.
Every wall built to anchor in safe port,
is yet another inner sea wall built
to dam fresh water
that could dyke the inborn bent
towards brackishness.
The roof and walls
of your mind's fortress
are not real, real is the tower
of your right thinking
that sparks light and where it's strongest,
there are no barbed wires
save open roads,
bridging you to humanity.
