British writers
Now I have attempted
More than a few times
To read his novels
Never manege to get into any
I'm not the only Brit who have tried
I find him due to his mixed parents
His mother English middle class
His father a coal miner
He felt he were nither fish nor fowl

Yet his poetry I loved
I carried a book of his collective poems
Around with me
Loved his poetry greatly
The Book now has a well read look
