May some say it's summer
Others say June is summer
Well May has sprung a leak
Though maybe May as rained
It self dry - now
Maybe just maybe
Now the sun will scorch us crisp like

Well, your part of the world does have an impressive amount of rain... all year round, no? :) But yes, May is here... month of the lilacs - my all-time favorite flower. As for summer heat, your last line is exactly how I always feel in summer: scorched. So unpleasant lol I think I prefer the rain after all ;)
