Felt inspired to write this in memory of a young man who lived life like he lived twice.

In memoriam

Oh boy, what a short life you lived
But what an impact you made
Thousands came to your funeral
Everyone cried as your casket passed under that American flag
Even though you had such a short dash through life
You were so truly loved and bathed in light
At your funeral, your daddy said that “you are who you surround yourself with”
And it is clear that you surrounded yourself with the best
I’m so sorry that you couldn’t be around to see all the rest
But somehow I know, you lived every moment to the fullest and you had no regrets.

A lovely remembrance. He will obviously be very much missed, but remembered fondly as your words have shown.
