IF ONLY SABINA HAD BEEN PASSING BY

Yesterday - Saturday
I went to trawl for books
At a church summer fair
There were a jazz duo
Lad playing a saxophone
The other playing a tuba
Now I'm not so keen on
Hearing the tuba - it's
Rather limited

Yet on hearing & listening
To both saxophone tuba being played
In perfect harmony - I were enthralled
Blues & soul & all that jazz

Oh only pity were that Sabina Desir
Were not passing by - walked through
The church gaits - smiling her brightest
Her son holding her hand - smiling - Raf
knowing what were a coming
Sabina says ' hi boys ' , ' whats a cooking, boys? '
Then it's a jam session!
Forming a trinity

Sabina sings a line - the due picks up instantly on cue - no problem
Soon the a joining streets filling with the people of Ramsgate
Going through Church gaits - to be apart of the audience
At the spontaneous gig
The Church funds full of cash
If only Sabina had been passing by
