Popped into a charity shop saw a book,
How to cook fish fingers;
Hence this poem was formed.

FISH FINGERS

I know that fish have fingers,
I think it really great.
I know that fish have fingers,
I've seem them on my plate.

I know that fish have fingers,
They use them just for fun.
Sometimes they use them
while in schools,
For adding up their sums.

I know that they must use them,
where ever that they go.
How else could they do up,
The buttons on their clothes?

Although I've looked very close,
How strange it seems to be.
I've never seem their fingers
When they travel,
Underneath the sea.

They're very good at hiding them,
This I know is so.
I'm glad they've only found their fingers,
I would hate a plate of toes!
