Disciplining Democracy
This has been known since the birth of the nation:Sometimes, democracy doesn't work. There are
Those who should vote, and others who shouldn't,
And, when foolish do-gooders let in the latter,
Disorder ensues. Morality suffers. The very
Foundation of all that we worthy ones value
Is shaken, and, as a result, we must step in
To drive away those who we've always known
Shouldn't be brought to the polls.
