Tranquillity.

Do you believe in sweet release
That afterlife will bring you peace
To ease your pain and tortured soul
Released from earths embalming role

To look upon your loved ones still
With peace and comfort as your will
To love and cherish, oversee
Be free to wander in memory

A life passed on in spirit drifts
In times long gone yet still persists
To roam for all eternity
That which we seek tranquillity.

Daybreaker
WOW! Once more I am stunned with your rythm and your tenderness.

I really really wish that I believed a little bit more in tranquillity.

Thank you!

It has been so long to hear from you and now this wonderful poem! It was worth the wait. The flow is restful and soothing. Your words are heart-felt. I loved the thoughts expressed. :) kathy

I would like to live in the hearts,
Long after I am gone.
I would like to linger in the memory,
Of those I loved & who loved me.
I would like to feel my fragrance,
Upon your breath, long after
I am no more with thee...
I would like to linger on, long after
I am gone- in the hearts, in the souls,
In the memories of loved ones
And the ones who loved me...
I would like...

Dear Graham, Don't inspire me,
Or, I will go no like this for a century,
And haunt you like a ghost in glee...
Dear Graham, don't inspire me!!!!

***Hugs***
