Wand
I hear your words upon the breeze,With tales I know I'll drink down fast.
Such plots that twist and turn my head
Deep secrets born in dreams.
I suggest such coy surprise,
Oh eyes that flash
Oh breast that heaves
Though I am not surprised dear heart,
Yet I feign mock appal.
Your words are sighs in silent hours
That birth relief from frenzied days
They bring sweet wine against the sour
Where salt has poisoned all
I know you balance tenderly,
These stories with your wizard wand
It writes the spells I hunger for
And calms my ferrel heart.
I would awake to you sweet king
Who takes away life's bitter sting
And sail on seas that gently rock
To a place much sweeter seems
