Sky (The Fly & The Gordian Knot)

Let this fly fly free,

let this winged being be

in this coldest winter in years,

let it circle all my fears;

bring to mind

another kind

of life;

sunny, without strife

I welcome this fly that suddenly woke,

buzzed its wings so gallantly and spoke:

I'm a messenger from another time

listen closely to your heartbeat's chime

You and I are part of this universe;

buzz your spiritual wings, don't curse!

Sometimes you are, and sometimes not:
No place is far; cut through the Gordian Knot!”

Oh, Musca domestica, buzz yet a while!
Look in my face! Yes, that's a smile!

The morning's here and so am I!

When asked ”what's up?”, just answer ”sky!”

Whimsically brilliant. The last line is a parable in itself!
