Challenge

Why?
Why oppress the soul
And place the challenge upon
My soul?
Can’t it also cry?
Yes , long and painful tears
Cold and frightened soul .
Why suffer or detest a hearts song ?

Heavy weight burdens the soul, the chest
Why? Please refrain
Tolerance until elastic hearts stretch no more
Suffer on, night unrest.
Love for love, oh so vain.
Dive deep, bite you at my souls core.

No more can I bare
Testing you my poor love?
Challenge me no more
Is this real love, real care?
I drown, you rising above?
Abound in flight, oppression deplore
Any brightness found is light,
Is love .
