Well, yes! Certainly the weeds aren't breathing now! Sad, really, in a way. Poor old breathless weeds.

What Are weeds, but
Wild flowers growing in
(To our human eyes)
The wrong place?
But even weeds
Are beloved of bees...

I enjoyed your poem very much, because it set me thinking. I love that.
