That planet had been alive

Very much alive
Rather like our planet earth
That planet evolved
Developed science & all of the arts
That planet were not unlike a doppelganger
Of our planet Earth
As like our planet Earth now, became led by the greedy

The power-hungry
Why led their planet from behind into war of mutual self-destrustion 
Now see up above at night, what is left of that planet far far away
Rocks - asteroids - like ghosts - now - haunting the solar system
