COLOURS

Imbibe me a colour,
Let me drink it in.
Not of winter coldness,
Just of summer and the spring.

There are many colour's in the world,
Most are never seen.
Like the colour's of a heart,
Or the ones within a dream.

To taste the colour's of a summer breeze,
Before the day is done that's difficult to see.
Like the colour's of the wind as it steps out,
To race across the expanse of sea.

So many different colours in a tear drop,
When friend's and family start to cry.
Because they would see all the colours,
When it's time for one to die.

So when it's time imbibe me a colour,
Give me strength to drink it in.
Not of dark coldness off winter,
Just of summer and the spring.

This could make a rhyme for some sort of greetings card, Alan. It has that feel about it. Do they have a 'post death' greeting card? No of course not. But you get by drift, I'm sure. Well rhymed, my friend.
Blessings, Allen
