Now a poet uses words to express the self

Not to offend the reader

True a few will not like some words used

Will find those words not nice

But life is let's face it not nice not very nice

At all

The use of expressive words could well bring
To emphasize a point being made in the work
The reader pulled up sharp to think on
Those words used are not expressed as swearing
Used for effect

Subjects can call upon the use of expressive
Language words of a poet to pen in a work

Poetry is a means of expressing what is in
The mind of the poet not to offend the reader
Poetry is not so always romantic as maybe
As once it were way back in yesteryear
A long long time ago indeed
